Gestures work perfectly, I wouldn't ever disable these. Any apps that may conflict with gestures will need to be fixed by their developers, as according to what I read, Gestures will become an official feature of iOS 5.

There's no going back. If you decide to enable gestures, make sure you let developers know of any problems you may find, so they fix them by the time the new version comes out.

They actually can get rid of the home button

Has one figured out when ur deleting apps to use multi gestures to stop them from shaking?
 
I've played with them. Honestly it isn't worth it to me. I like having one button to press to go home, one button to press twice to switch apps. But I can understand how others would like them.
 
Hey, ive just jailbroke my ipad 1 and installed ifile on it, then accessed the K848AP.plist file and added the (mutiltasking-gestures) line into that file, do i enter that text on a new line or just beside the <plist> line? Sorry for the possibly stupid question here guys.
