I'm looking for a scanner that be used for both photo and multipage documents. I have about 500 4x6 photos that I need to digitize as a one time project.

Then, I'd like to use the scanner to eliminate paper, so a multisheet feed scanner is needed.

I really like what I've read about the Fujitsu SnapScan but it seems to be only a document scanner. Is there something similar that can do photos?

Thanks.

The document feeders of archiving scanners such as my wonderful Epson Workforce GT-S50 have adjustable guides. Adjust the guides, stack the photographs face-down in document feeder, and hit SCAN. I have have never had the occasion to scan photographs like this, but I see no reason for it not to work.
