I have a macbook and Aperature software on it. I plan to get the new imac and was wondereding whether I can copy the Aperature software onto the mac?

I will be the only one to use it but I wondered whether it will a) work? and b) is it legal in apple's eyes?

My understanding is that you're permitted to move the software to your new computer and use it there, but not have it on both computers at once.

So, yes 1 laptop, 1 desktop is OK as long as there is only one user (so only one machine in use at once), but two laptops, two desktops or two users is not OK.
