Multi Touch Gestures for the iPad 1 on iOS5?

Don’t tell me they’re gone.

They are working PERFECTLY on the first generation on iOS 4 so why keep them from the early adopters?!

it seems they are, seems a strange move seeing how i can't imagine they really needed the ipad2's spec bump. you can get them back via jailbreak if you're desperate but i'm hoping that enough people will let Apple know and they'll just let them be used in the next beta
