I've been waiting for developers to start implementing for software for the trackpad. They are really pushing the boundaries. I hope they decide to release it in a full application.
Please release.
Let's get this Mac gaming thing going... Marathon simply doesn't cut it anylonger.
All this touch Tech is getting old ....real fast, I dislike the new track-pad on the new Mac-books, I prefer a REAL button, separate from all the friggin movement

You're just telling us you don't actually own a UMBP, because any UMBP owner knows that the button on the track pad is sensitive at the bottom portion, and feels just as natural to click that as any other button.
Tired of touch sensative tech?
Here's a pen and paper, now leave us alone.

Touch is currently the simplest way to interact with technology (until we can control a computer with brainwaves). And I'm sorry to say, but I and many companies see touch staying for a very long time.
May I suggest a Dell, they have a nice lineup with two big buttons separate from the track pad.
Every single time somebody says anything even remotely negative about how they View Mac in any way,......an opinion even a little different,..you get the snotty attitudeHa Ha, you boys sure are Superfans
Good for you, now go stroke your toy computer and leave the thinking to us Dell owners LOL

Okay, the last part of my comment may have been "snotty" but regardless of that and how much I like and hate Apple products, I was only pointing out that touch is not going away for any company, not Dell, HP, MS, and especially not for Apple.

What do you mean by simple?
I'd say NO to touch screens.
You're fighting a losing battle there.
