What's the point? Seriously, most software don't even allow you to choose, so why have it?

I think Apple should force people that distribute software into using some sort of Apple installer, an installer that will not only offer the user a choice, but also an installer that comes to a proper uninstaller.

Personally, I would love to see all these software companies releasing their software without installers, period. HELLO, that's what .Apps are for!

Sigh.

I'm just saying that we should have a choice is all. Most installers just choose MAC HD by default.

Why not utilize .Apps. Why bother even having installers for programs.
