HomeKit Multiple Apple TVs as Homekit hubs

Is it possible to use multiple Apple TVs as Homekit hubs on the same network at the same time?

The reason I'm asking is that I have a Bluetooth accessory that doesn't reliably connect to the ATV4 I have been using as my hub so far. I have another ATV4 that is closer to the accessory, but I don't see the Homekit option under Accounts/iCloud.

Just following up in case someone has the same issue: Logging out of iCloud and back in on the second Apple TV solved the problem. Now both ATVs show as connected, and my accessory works much better.

That's interesting...does that mean the ATV4 is acting as a sort of range extender for Homekit capable devices?

Yes. Multiple ATVs can form a mesh network to reach devices that the main hub cannot reach. Elgato has a good blog entry explaining this:
