I am planning on getting a SS Series 4 AW and have Verizon Wireless for my iPhone X. I know that Verizon charges $10 per month for the "additional device". What happens if I purchase a second LTE Apple Watch? Do they share the same access or do I have to pay the $10 access fee for each watch?
Thanks

Each watch will only work with one line but only one watch can be activated on a line at a time. You can easily switch the service to the other watch through the watch app and then the service on the first watch will stop. So again, if you only have one line, one watch can only be activated at a time but you can easily use both watches with the phone but only one will have LTE service at a time.

If you have two phone numbers, each number can be activated with a watch and that will be two separate charges.

Thanks. That's what I was hoping would happen. Verizon says you need to set up both AWs as separate devices.

Two  Watches with cellular, first one had its own line. When setting up the second one I recently got, asked at set up for cellular did I want to move the line from the old watch to my new watch or set up as new with separate line. Set up as new, so I pay an additional $20 since I need both devices to have cellular. If I moved the line, cellular service on the original would have ceased.

Thank you for this info. This is exactly what I needed to know after I purchase the Series 4 watch and need to remove my cellular plan from the old Series 3 watch.

But could you have done as the previous poster had replied and have the Watch app on the iPhone switch cellular as you switch watches? I assume you don’t wear both watches at the same time.

I switch them during the day actually. Not going to go through the hassle of switching back and forth, seems stupid.
