Ok so two days ago I downloaded iTunes 10. It downloaded, installed, and then asked to restart. All was going good, but when the computer came back on and I went to open iTunes, it would crash before even opening.

So I thought it was strange, but I kept using my computer like I was before the install, and went to sign on to Skype; crashed. I went to open Safari; flash player crashed. Quicktime, same thing. Chrome and firefox as well.

I then went online and tried to see if there was anyone else going through what I'm going through. Everyone said I had to delete .plist files. There were no .plist files!

Then I went one by one, deleting, re-downloading and trying to install everything again. Still crashing. Then I tried with older versions. Same.

So far the only thing fixed so far is the Flash player plug-in for Safari.

HELP?! What can I do? I have everything backed up on time machine. Should i just clear the computer and start over?? HELP

couple of things to try:

(a) verify disk and repair permissions using disk utility, then reboot

(b) boot into safe mode, then reboot normally.
