We have two Iphones in our house with each having it's own separate contact list with #'s, etc. We also have a master contact list on our MBP with common contacts. Is there a way to maintain separate contact lists on the phones while each phone having the capability of viewing the master list? Still using mobile me. Thx

Well, this has been a subject of much debate.
Most people stony want duplicated contacts on their phones, but it sounds like you kind of want it.

If you both back up with iCloud with the same account, you will have 1 "master" database with both your contacts and the other persons contacts you are talking about. This would be the default view on the iPhone.

But you can go to contacts-> groups. And select your own contact list to view or your partners.
Now any additional contacts added from either of you will be automatically backed up to iCloud as a "master" copy.

Hope this wasn't too confusing....but I think this is what you wanted although not anything pertaining to MobileMe.
