Multiple email accounts still a pain?

I'm really hoping this is fixed in the iPad.

I experience this on my iPhone. Even though the mail client supports multiple accounts, switching from one Inbox to the other involves navigating five screens (out of one Inbox and up to the account level, then back to the Accounts screen, into another account, and finally into the other Inbox).

4.0 has a universal inbox but you'll have to wait for Fall to get 4.0 on the iPad.

Oh I don't WANT a universal one.... i like it like it is....

Unless it is like the Mac where i don't even know that it is universal because it shows them all separately.

    I know, i'm weird.... LOL!

What I do need to sort out is how other people can easily check THEIR email on it if they borrow it. They aren't going to want to set up their accounts on my iPad, but there will be a need for 1-2 people to use it at certain weekend events.

Darn it, i could really use profiles.

Same as with any computer, web mail is your best bet. But yeah, I would love separate logins for iPad, it's messy sharing one without that.

I was hoping they'd work - is mobile me the only one that doesn't? I use everything on my Touch's mail app, so i've never even tried webmail.

I have no idea what the one person uses as a client - he's got more email addys that me i think! LOL!!

Profiles would just rock for sharing..... i'm tempted to not put my email on my iPad because I know i will be sharing it with the kids more than the touch.

I think it will be worth the wait. In the interim I'll use 4.0 (when it's released) on my iPhone :)

You can still navigate back to each individual Inbox.
