iPhone X Multiple Face ID support?

I thought I read that iOS 12 was going to allow multiple face ID’s to store, so if I wanted my wife to have the ability to also unlock via Face ID. When setting up my new XS Max last night I was thinking about that.

Face ID now has the option of adding an ‘alternative appearance’ in the settings.

The setting says it supposed to be for an ‘alternative appearance’ of just yourself (like growing a beard), though I’ve tested adding my wife’s face and the phone so far has worked at allowing us both to unlock the device.

Yup had my wife add her face to my X so she could unlock it that way instead of my passcode.
