App Q&A testing by request.
I am looking for suggestions for using multiple keyboards for different macros,
For example, one keyboard will just be normal... but the other pressing keys would do something different.

(I'm speaking a bit generically, I know..but could also be a separate num pad that does the macros vs the built in num pad...whatever).

I assume there would be separate software to do this, rather than the built in mac drivers.

Googling tells me that Keyboard Maestro doesn't seem to work for this. It has both key triggers and device triggers, but doesn't seem (at least from what I've found so far) to seem to be able to to do Key From This Device But Not That Device triggers.

I'm looking at Controller Mate which seems much more involved, but maybe that's the answer.

Anyone have an idea or solution?

I use an Elgato Stream Deck.
It's a bit pricier, but it looks cool as f%)" and has great customisation software

I think that might be a problem.
I was trying to do some things with a spare trackpad, but there was no way for Mac to discern one trackpad input from another...
