Running Mac OSX 10.6 on a 13" unibody, with an external monitor.

I use spaces quite a lot.

I usually run a movie, etc. on the external, while forums, etc on the macbook.

Is there a way for me to switch spaces on the macbook monitor, without the external monitor changing spaces. Basically, I want to de-activate spaces for the external.

Thanks for any advice.

Not that I know of, but you could try to assign the video player to all Spaces.

I'd just go with Expose- it's a lot quicker and easier than Spaces, and doesn't have all of the weird quirks. I use Expose with dual monitors, 13" Blackbook and a 22" 1080p LED-LCD, and it works fine.
