Multiple Monitors? Hold off on 10.5.6...

I figure these are the only computers that would have this problem, so I am posting in this forum instead of OSX.

According to the Display preferences, I just lost a 1280*1024, and gained a half dozen 800*600 panels (whatever res it is supposed to be, it is sure small)?

I took out one of my panels, rebooted, and still have an issue. If you are using multiple monitors, esp any tricks (I think what did me was a Tritton See2Xtreme to get the 1024*268 panel, I would wait until you have some time to troubleshoot to upgrade.

Just tried it out on my machine with two 20" screens and an 8800 GT, and mine is perfectly normal. I'll throw in another card later today and see if it happens when I have two GPUs installed.

I have a 24" LCD, 17" LCD and 21" CRT on two cards with no problems.

The problem is Tritton

I had the same problem. Removing those Tritton drivers worked. Download the installer:

Run the uninstaller script and reboot.
