How many monitors can I hook up to the air and how?

I have a Mid 2013 model.

Model Name: MacBook Air
Model Identifier: MacBookAir6,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i5
Processor Speed: 1.3 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Boot ROM Version: MBA61.0099.B00
SMC Version (system): 2.13f5

You should be able to daisy chain two displayport monitors if you get displays that support doing so. There's also the airplay option to bring another one in once Mavericks comes along.

Wow...I missed the announcement of that feature! That's pretty impressive. I assume then that a new line of monitors would be forthcoming since an aircard would be required in them?

That has nothing to do with the discussion at hand. Using an AppleTV as another display is not what is being discussed

I referenced the article in the event OP was not aware.

No need to be in attack mode. I'm just participating in a friendly discussion.
