I'm facing multiple repeated problems with music + icloud services on both OSX and iOS. Problems include randomly being unable to save an album or song to the "my music" or "playlists" sections on both the iTunes app on my mac and the music app on both my iPad and iPhone, with rebooting the device being the only solution.

The apps randomly appear to run into problems with the icloud service to sync my playlists. Trying to open the iCloud or iTunes + Appstore preferences in the settings app on iOS simply freezes the settings app itself, and these don't work until I restart the device.

The music app sometimes randomly forgets that the ipad is logged in to iCloud and refuses to save changes to my playlists until I reboot the devices.

I'm facing similar problems with the iTunes + iCloud services on my Mac. It randomly decides that it won't work with icloud. The "icloud music library" option in itunes preferences refuses to remain checked, therefore rendering itunes unable to sync my music and playlists with my iOS devices, until I reboot my mac and sign in afresh to iCloud from both the system preferences and itunes.

Using iTunes + music for a couple of days, I find it hard to believe Apple never saw any of these problems in their testing, and is seriously selling such a flawed service. This reminds me of the gum + duct tape days of keeping windows 3.1 together.

Has anyone managed to fix these issues? Is there a way out? Is anyone actually using iTunes + iCloud sync + music reliably for a long period of time without facing any problems?
