Multiple Notifications about new SMS Gone after 2.2

I got a text today, and didn't have time to open it up. (Just glanced at it from the lock state).

I noticed that i was not notified again which used to happen with firmware 2.1???

Anyone else noticed that?

I still get a second and third notification after 2.2

As do I. Could you possibly share some of your settings to see if there is any way to disable this "feature"?

Hmmm ... not sure what settings you mean but here they are (don't see how any of these would affect the SMS service):

- Wifi off
- 3G on
- EDGE on
- General Profile .... not silent
- Vibration on
- Bluetooth on
- Fetch 15 mins

Btw, the phone is Jailbroken ..... anyone else getting 2/3 notifications with device being JBen???
