Hi,
I'm having quite a lot problems with my old Macbook Pro.
Now all i want to do is do a full format for it...
Macbook Model: Macbook Pro 2013
OS: High Sierra 10.13.6
Problem 1: Internal Keyboard problem.
q , w, e, r, t, y, u, i, o & esc cannot be used. Rest works fine.
I'm still able to use an external USB keyboard.
edit:
typing on build in keyboard
q & i key increase the volume
w & i key types `
e & i key types §
r & i key types [
t & i key types ]
y &i key types =
(Edit 2: stopped working after update to Mojave and PRAM reset)
Problem 2: Trackpad.
Touch to click works fine but am unable to press down to click.
Problem 4: kernel_task running extremely crazy slowing my computer to extremely crazy speed
Problem 5: Unable to reset NVRAM/PRAM
As my keyboard letter 'r' don't work i'm unable to reset the NV/PRAM
used a external keyboard but still unable to reset NV/PRAM
Problem 6: Unable to enter recovery mode
Holding cmd+r on startup does nothing.
Checked diskutil list and Recovery Partition exists.
Tried making a bootable drive, it does not appear in Start Up Disk preference.
Unable to go into Start Up Manager holding option on start-up.
Extra information. I do have bootcamp on this computer before and never use if for a long long time. only to find out it disappear from start up disk preference. As i have no use for it i removed as my end result was to clean out the mac.
Help will be great.
