I have a 2019 Chevy Traverse. It takes multiple tries to get CarPlay connected. Plug phone in multiple times. Unlock it multiple times. Trying those in different order. This happened sometimes before iOS 13 but now is much worse on 13.1. I’m using an Apple cord to connect. Any suggestions?

Yeah try a different cord and power cycle your phone. I tried CarPlay using 13.1.1 for the first time today. No issues.
Using 13.0 it was a nightmare and kept rebooting and i thought it was the cable but it wasn't.

I have a 2018 Subaru Legacy - CarPlay worked with IOS 13 but quite working with iOS 13.1. When I plugged the cord in, the CarPlay icon would come on then immediately go out. I could never it get to stay connected

What fixed it for me was to unpair my phone from bluetooth and then repair the phone. After I did that, CarPlay started working normally. I can't explain why this worked, but it did. Hope this helps.

I'm using an "official" Apple cord. The solution I'm working with now is to remove the phone from CarPlay through my car's settings and then re-add it. That seems to keep it working for a couple days at a time.

Same here (iPhone 11 with a 2018 Chevy Colorado). Tried multiple cables and ports. Sometimes it works most of the time it does not. There is a lengthy thread over at Apple about this.

Do you have a link to the thread at Apple? I am having a hard time trying to find it
