Please help. We are running several PoweMac G4s, We have just upgraded to Panther, the first compuer we encountered a problem. I don't know how to Enable multiple users and run classic apps (ie. Quark 5, etc...) The OSX apps work great, however any users that have restricted access can't run Quark 5. These users get an error because they can't write to the System Preferences.

Forgive my ignorace, but basically we want 4 or 5 users run os x but share the OS 9 System (Classic). Does that make sense?

Thanks for any help you are able to give.

I think Quark has a temp. file of some sort (or a 'scratch' file).

Possible solutions...
1. Make all users 'Admin'. Not always possible.
2. Find the file(s) needed, then change the permissions to 777 (read&write for everone).

We still are running Quark 5 on OS 9 with Mac Manager. I have to give extra permissions to the QuarkExpress folder.

Hope this helps.
