I recently imported the content/applications from my wife's older G5 Mac, to our new iMac. I did this via firewire, and it worked great. Now on the iMac we have two profiles, mine, and hers. When she logs into her's, the computer resembles her older G5 Mac, in that all of the applications are what were on the older computer (olde version of mail, iPhoto, iTunes, etc). I was able to update some/most of her programs, but I am not able to figure out how to give her access to the common/shared programs/data. For instance, I want iTunes to be the exact same regardless of who is logged on (same with iPhoto). Is there a way that I can configure to ensure she has full access to these (and other programs) that are on the new iMac (iWork for instance)? Thanks so much for your help.

Same problem

blackfx35,

Did those links solve your problem? Which public folder did you use to place your iTunes and iPhoto libraries into? I ran into the same problem trying to give my girlfriend access to everything when we have separate user accounts.
