I bought a SBSS series 3 and now have a desire to also buy the SS version as well. I’m curious to know if anyone else here has bought two or more of the series 3 watch for themselves.

Yep. Exactly the same here, I have SS and SBSS Series 3. Works fine, even with data. You can turn on Auto Switch so you can just put on a Watch and it becomes the active one.

Apple has also recently improved using two Watches. For example, before new music would only sync to the most recently used Watch. So overnight only one would ever download new music. Now both will update at once assuming they're both on charge.

There is a poster over in the EE thread for the UK that has multiple Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) activated on 2 LTE data plans.

Really a personal choice.

Life is good! I have a S2SS and a S3SBSS. As others have said, works seamlessly. I just make sure to place inactive one in airplane mode or turn it off before turning next one on. Connects and syncs to phone seamlessly.

Yup. SS S0 38mm, AW2 Nike+ 38mm (trading both 38mm at BestBuy for the 42mm AW2 SS) and the AW3 Cellular silver alum 42mm. The SS for work—always have my phone, and the aluminum will be for workouts/weekends.

I had two original model watches - a stainless and a gold aluminum. No troubles with switching back and forth.

Down to just one with the series 3, but you never know....
