Multipowerbook rendering and Final Cut.

Hi.

I was wondering how fast would be to render wiresly in After Effects.

I am planing to get 3 12" PB. I am a Video Jockey and that is why I need the flexibility in transportation.

Then... can I accelerate Final Cut using the same configuration?

I think it only works when you are rendering out sequence of stills. I don't think it works with video files such as DV. Not sure though. For rendering gigs like this, you might just bring along a G5 if you are near an outlet. The top end G5s are 4-5 times faster than the PBs.

at least consider mac mini's no point in paying for the screen if its a render farm 😉

I do visuals in events and I need the computers there as well.
