hey since i update my El Capitan to the latest update (the one before Sierra became available)
I have some programmes leaving Instances in the menu bar that can't be removed? even with force quit.

ie. Processing, every time i play a sketch i makes a new instance which normally would disappear if you press stop, but these instances crash and then just sit there...? Same for Unity opening a new project gives a new instance and the old one is unremovable from the dock.
any ideas what could cause this?

my specs:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013)
2,7 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB

Also my mac refuses to restart when these instances are in the docks... only a forced hard shutdown gets it cleared. :(
