I was lead to believe, from scouring these forums, that double tapping the home button will give a list of recent apps.
if I open a multitasking app like the new eBay app (updated today) then close it using the home key and then reopen it it's righ where it left off as it should be.
Now if I double tap hold down eBay and delete it from the list the next time I open eBay it opens from scratch.
So the list in the double tap screen is not a list of recent apps but a task manager to what is currently multitasking. For those apps that start from scratch just don't have the multitasking programmer into them.
