multitouch left swipe

for some reason when i swipe left (3-fingers) safari disappears instead of going back to the previous page. iv closed it and reopened it and everything. is there a setting for this somewhere that im missing? thanks.

i get the same thing, but only when using fireforx. it dosn't close, just gets minimized.
