right so on the current mb and mbp, the touchpad already supports most of the things shown in the demo today. you can scroll and pan over photos with two fingers, right click with two fingers held and pressing the mouse button etc.

so I'm wondering if the new features apple seems to be crazy about now could be achieved with a software update. for example flipping through photos with three fingers on the touchpad... or it recognizing when you move two fingers away or towards one another, seeing as though it can already sense in which direction you're panning with two fingers on it.

    any thoughts?

seems like they have a special leopard version for the mba to support the new finder features like connecting it to other computers and share their optical drive. would be interesting, too, to see if it'll run on a normal mb as well...
