Mushkin or Corsair Memory

I know the manufacturer of the memory typically doesn't matter being as how most produce adequate quality sticks.

Newegg right now has 2x2gb Corsair memory for my Macbook Pro for $34.99 after a mail in rebate. It is $10 cheaper than the Mushkin variety and has a CAS latency of 4 compared to the Mushkin 5.

What I want to know is has anyone had a bad experience with Corsair to make this deal too good to be true?

It's not worth it. You can get a CAS 5 2X2GB G.Skill set for $34.99 and free shipping.

If you really want CAS 4 (doesn't make much of a difference), then get this G.Skill set for $41.99 plus $2.99 shipping.

Such a substantial mail in rebate ($40) is not to be put to chance whether or not they will fill it. Corsair is notoriously bad about rebates. FYI, there is no such thing as Apple RAM on Newegg so I don't know why they have the section. Just go to the regular laptop RAM and look around. The ones I have linked to are good choices for you.
