Currently using iOS 9.3.2, this "problem" haven't been fixed for a year.
When adding a album from a clean empty playlist(where there is no existing songs playing next inside the app) regardless of using the up next or play next function, adding a second album regardless of using up next or play next will break the flow of the first album
