Music App won't control podcasts anymore?!

The music app used to be able to control podcasts that were playing on the iPhone. Well, not anymore for me.
Is it just me or did they kill that feature??

It works for me (using apples own podcast app) also works with other audio sources such as storytel.

negative, not working for me! it just pretends that nothing is playing at all on the watch.

What am I supposed to do with this? It lets me control the volume but not skip the song for 15 seconds like before.
