Music Backing Question

    Hey guys - I need your help big time!

    I am wanting a way, a program, to take a song and take away the singers voice, and just leave the backing track.... or if anybody knows of a website which does good but cheap backing tracks - please let me know

    Guys, your help and replies are appreciated so much - please help

    what are you asking? are you trying to drop out the vocals of a track and end up with an instrumental? I am trying to find a way to do this.. anyone know?

    Yeah thats exactly it! lol you worded it better than me!

    Anybody have any ideas?

    You can't.

    You can filter out the frequencies of the vocals but it'll also take those frequencies of the instrumentation too.

    If you want good quality backing tracks either look for instrumental versions of the songs or find a karaoke cd
