Music controls bug on lock screen iPhone x

this is crazy. My daughter just texted me a screen shot of her x ....the music controls are on her lock screen and she can’t get them to go away.

Well now my x has the same issue.

Is it possible it’s a bug?

Try opening the Music app and then closing it using the app switcher.
