Is there any site out there covering this live?
It starts in 33 minutes and I can't find anything...

none that I'm aware of.... I'm REALLY surprised that Apple is webcasting this as it's a major announcement. :(

I've got some friends from record companies that are there though, they need to keep their mobiles switched on. ;) heheh

Ok, the event is over. The British, German and French music stores should go online in a couple minutes. iTunes can now server 60% of the music market, according to Jobs.

ignore the billing information warning... open up the store and you can switch between stores (it's a drop down menu at bottom of the page) once you've accessed the Store. ;)

I used to get the store selection dropdown, but it's gone now... and the store still is a mixture of English and some German. I guess it takes a while to update everything. But buying works.

......Yes I'll shut up soon

Apple.com hasn't which is surprising, but they've added it to the 'Hot News RSS' and on the news page.
