Unfortunately the Mail contact photo situation seems to be quite different between MacOS 15.4 Mail and iOS Mail, even though 'categories' have been brought to parity.

Namely, many of the picture icons in iOS mail automatically customize, like Amazon will show the Amazon logo DoorDash will show a utensils next to the email. This doesn't seem to have made its way to MacOS even though categories did.

Or is it a bug on my end? Would have been nice.

On my M1 MBP, not my 2018 Intel Mac mini, the Music app opens and I'm able to play songs in my Library normally. When I quit the Music App, though, it goes into a loop of reopening and crashing over and over.. Forcing me to reboot. Rinse & repeat.

Rad that Music got 0 updates from 15.1 to 15.5
Yup. Another update, and search filtering with column browsing is STILL yet to be fixed. Been broken since somewhere around Sonoma 14.2. I've reported it again, of course. Apple doesn't care.

Sometimes my playlists on macOS reorder themselves seemingly randomly (not alphabetically, that would be too handy) and I can no longer move the songs up and down to get the original order back. It works on the iPhone, which also displays the correct order. I need to make a new playlist, copy the songs, and order them again, then delete the old one. I haven’t experienced this in 15.5 yet, but it happens rarely and I wouldn’t know how to reproduce the error.

More Music weirdness...
I launched the Music app today and sorted my library by "Date Added" where I found a gigantic amount of files had been imported into my library quite without my knowledge. The files corresponded to an unknown album from an unknown artist in my library (as represented in the finder) and they total 5,235 weighing in at 3.69 gigs. They look like various files used by the operating system and (probably) programs such as Garage Band and the like. How they were imported into my Music program is anyone's guess!

Likely what happened here is you accidentally dragged your HD onto Music
