This might sound a silly question, can you add itunes playlists to the watch?

If I create a playlist on itunes on my Macbook, can I add that playlist to my watch?

Yes ... go to 'Music' on the Watch app on your iPhone - tap on 'Add Music' and then 'Playlists' where you will see all of your playlists available.

Thank you - great to hear. What is the app like to use on the watch for music? A shame you cannot get Amazon music on the watch but I can understand the reason behind that!

I’ve hardly used it - so can’t really comment on use ability I’m afraid. I’ve an old AW3 with not much memory to download playlists ... so just use my iPhone.

I should be moving to AW6 soon though 🤞😃

Typically I select what to download to the watch from the Music portion of the Watch app on my phone. I supposed you can use the watch as well. Note that I think it only syncs when the watch is on the charger.

With the Series6 (and Series5) you're limited to 8GB of downloaded music though. Don't know why.

Using the app on the watch is decent enough. I didn't have a lot of expectations though and I don't bounce around so my interactions are relatively minimal.

Ah nice! What earphones do you use out of interest?

I’m still running with my 4th gen Ishuffle and dangling wires!

I have both the original AirPods and also AirPod Pros. I mainly use the AirPods (when out walking, exercising on my Concept 2 rower or spin bike) as I just find them more comfortable - I don't know I've got them in. I use the Pros mainly if I'm listening to music and don't want to annoy people around me with music leaking. I also use the Pros when I'm on a plane for the noise cancelling.

My old AirPods aren't holding the charge for much longer than an hour now unfortunately (especially the left which stops working some time before the right) ... which isn't great when I'm on a long hike ... so I'm also looking at getting a new pair of AirPods!! There's always something to buy ;)

That’s really interesting to hear. I would use my 2nd gen airpods but they are not sweat resistant. I find them comfortable too. I sweat whilst running and don’t want to ruin them. Hence why I’m looking at the APP.

I also sweat - a lot - especially when doing a hard session on the rowing machine ... but never had an issue. I've had them 2 and a 1/2 years and they've had a lot of use. I know they say they're not sweat or water resistant ... but I'm not sure what the potential problems can be with them.

Very interesting. I’m on my second pair of airpods second gen as the first pair started failing to connect To my iPhone and one AirPod didn’t always work. I thought it was because I had used them running (in the warmer summer months too) and the sweat had caused the issue. Hence my concern. They are from John Lewis and are still under warranty for another 8 or so months I think. I did have a thought of using them for running still and if they do go wrong I send them back to get fixed as still covered with warranty.

Ah, yes ... I understand your concern and I guess it might have been from the sweat. I might just have been lucky with mine ... so far!
