I've noticed a strange issue since upgrading to iOS 18 on my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I have my phone connected to my car stereo via a USB cable. In iOS 17 I had open the Music app, Tap "Songs", pick a song (usually first item in the list), then make sure the shuffle (two arrows crossing over themselves icon) option was on as I wanted random play. Them hit the play button and the music would happily play.

Today is the first day using the phone in my car after updating to iOS 18. If I follow the steps above it all seems like things are working, but after maybe 10 or so songs (fully playing, or skipping through), it seems to loop back to the first one played, and if I skip that, it's playing the second song it would have played initially. In other words it's like it things it's on some kind of repeat from a list, but I'm not using a playlist.

Obviously while driving I cannot delve deeper into this, and I've not yet had the time to just sit in the car and figure out what's happening.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, is there a workaround or a solution to it?
