I’m assuming you updated OTA and didn’t do an iCloud restore, right? I would check in Settings under iPhone storage to see if it appears the music is still on your phone. If the music is still there, try restarting your phone and see if the playlists appears. I had this happen with the photos app where a bunch of photos that I had just taken were gone. A restart fixed it.hello!
I just downloaded the PB iOS11 on my iPhone 7+ and I went to the music app and all of my old playlists have disappeared. Has anyone had this issue? Any ideas how to get them back? Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks!

The same thing happened to me as well.I have the same problem and my playlists still do not appear even after re-booting and re-starting my iPhone, or logging out/in to my itunes account wih my Apple id.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
[doublepost=1498862119][/doublepost]Okay, I finally figured out the solution. Upgrading to iOS Public Beta 11 turned off iCloud Music Library in Settings. Once I re-enabled iCloud Music Library, my playlists and music appeared.
Some of my old playlists only appear on the “For you” tab. None of them shows up in the main list. Furthermore, when I create a new playlist on the phone it doesn’t appear on itunes after synchronized, it stays only on the phone and vice versa. All my music is in the iphone’s memory. Tried all the solutions suggested above but no success. It seems that there’s no communication between itunes and the iphone. My ignorance can be really annoying sometimes. I would thank so very much any help lended.
[doublepost=1499537952][/doublepost]Have you checked to see whether your iCloud music library is turned on? That was my issue. The library was turned off when I upgraded to PB2

Yes. I tried both ways, iCloud Music Library ON and OFF always booting the phone between changes. It made no difference. This on iTunes. On the iPhone, since the beginning, everytime I switched the IML ON on settings-music, no matter the option I used (keep music or substitute matches), it switched off by itself there. Couldn’t keep that turned on. Really don’t know why.
Go to settings - music- turn on iCloud musicHow do I turn my iCloud music library? My playlists have disappeared, but all of my music is on my phone. (Any help would be appreciated! My playlists did not disappear immediately after I upgraded to ios11, but now are gone.)
