Music scrambles when transferred...?

I dont understand why my music sometimes (most times) gets scrambled out of order when I transfer to my iTunes.

If there are for example 20 tunes listed numerically 1 - 20, it may show up in iTunes as 15 - 20, 8,7,6, 1 - 5, 9 - 14.

My iPhone seems to straighten the list out once transferred to the iPhone itself, but iTunes is just a whacky mix. Any ideas?

I had the same problem recently and I just hooked up my iphone, unlicked sync music, did a complete sync, then rechecked sync music and it worked for me
