So far in all betas of iOS7 the music is jumping (usually back in time) when you open home screen via "slide to unlock".

Can't just be me having this issue. Has Apple not looked into this yet? So annoying!

Happens to me too. I think its when I use the scrubber to go back/froward in the CC or the media controls on the lock screen. When i unlock is skips to where i scrubbed to.

This happens to me very often in the last two betas.

I'd be halfway done a song, then I'd unlock the phone and it jumps back to 1/4 way or so.

I've noticed this often. I've also noticed that when this happens the scrubber on the lock screen is actually stuck somewhere, and then when you unlock the song goes to where the scrubber thing was stuck.

I have similar issue. When I unlock my device (while playing music), it freeze a moment after coming main screen. And then the music continue to playing.

(Its happening when you set the password code for unlock device)

Fixed in Beta 5.

Still not fixed in Beta 6. Sigh. I am starting to believe this is a bigger issue than just a little bug fix.

Good lord I hope this doesn't end up being in grand master or we have to deal with music jumping back/ forth every time we do unlock.

Well I've got this and I'm on GM... Seems like we're stuck with it.

I'll also note that I didn't experience (or didn't pick it up) on any of the other betas.

The music slider on the lock screen is also stuck. As in, when the music is playing and I show the lock screen, it's not moving.

The scrubber should be immobile on the lock screen. Trying to jump ahead or back is a pain.
My guess is though that you might have corrupt mp3 files. I had a few songs that skipped around on iTunes, when I removed them from my iPhone 5, the skipping problem when unlocking went away.

If I am using n activity tracking app (runkeeper, starve etc) and attempt to take a photo the music app crashes on me every time. Sometimes it takes every other open app down with it. (It's not always consistent so it has gotten better, but it still happens to me.)

I'm still not seeing this in GM either. Is your music in a different format other than mp3? I think Apple will let you convert to AAC format?

Bump this,

I'm on GM and this happened today, just rebooted my iPhone 5 and the problem has gone, anyone experience this? Contemplating restoring iPhone...but if its a common issue then might not be worth it.

Any input would be great

I had this problem on my iPhone 4 running iOS 7 b6 but the problem resolved itself after restoring to GM. Haven't had this bug in a week and a half on GM.

It only happens to me if I fast forward or rewind the song using the bar (in the pic)instead of the buttons.

I also experienced this issue.

iPhone 5 (16GB)

When playing music and locking, after unlocking I experienced:
- Music app skipped around a few seconds
- Pandora just totally paused

After a whole day of this I powered down my iPhone and rebooted, and the issue seems to have been fixed (for now). It's weird because I had rebooted my phone a little bit after I upgraded, so I'm worried these issues will come up again.

It happen to me today too (after weeks of using iOS 7). Hard reset resolved the issue.
