Music skipping/ jumping when "slide to unlock"

Happens whenever I use the music app for more than 30 minutes. Starts to get really slow when skipping tracks, jumps around when unlocking, then finally crashes.

Bug confirmed on iOS 7.0.3

• Bug caused by some combination of scrubbing in lock screen, sleeping display, unlocking, and/or pausing
• Bug manifests as an undesired track scrub upon unlocking the iPhone
• Bug is sticky and symptom is experienced on each subsequent unlock
• Does not improve by killing music app
• Does not improve by locking, changing tracks or scrubbing
• Does improve by restarting iPhone
• Bug is possibly prevented by using a lockscreen passcode

The scrub bar on the iOS lock screen is very poorly implemented, and scrub touch inputs conflict with both the unlock gesture and the notification center pull-down gesture. It seems Apple did not test the scrub function without a lockscreen passcode. Until they fix the bug you have two possible remedies:

1. Use a lockscreen passcode
2. Do not use the scrub function in lock screen
