Music Widget never updating.

Hey guys,

just wanted to ask if someone has the same problem and/or has a solution for it.
My music widget always shows the same playlist and it never changes, no matter what I do.
I tried to restart the phone multiple times, deleted the widget etc., nothing works... it's so annoying.

Anybody with the same problem? Thanks in advance!

Mine appears to be stuck on something we asked Alexa to play via Apple Music last week!

Mine too is stuck. I've deleted/reinstalled the Music app on my iphone. No change. When I select the widget it always takes me to the browse folder? It's the same on both my devices :iPhone X, iPad 11 Pro both running latest IOS 14 beta. Feedback has been sent in. Any suggestions?

Mine is still showing the same album as per my post above from the 7th August!

I found that it only updates if you play music available through Apple Music, not including local files or personal stuff you uploaded to iCloud Music. I wish it worked like the Control Center, where it shows what you play from any source. I also think tapping the icon in the upper right should open Now Playing in whatever app is playing. This functionality is one of the few things I miss about Android.

This is what is happening with me. I thought it would be fixed by now. But my personal playlists do not show up on the widget. But the Apple playlist occasionally update on the widget.

Had a play last night and still not updated this morning. I searched via Apple Music for a playlist on my phone then via Alexa on my Amazon Echo which is linked to Apple Music i asked it to play stuff by a particular band and the widget hasnt updated even by this morning. The stuff that is showing is the stuff that has been searched via the Echo so it seems like its just not working for me.
