hi guys i m not sure what mac pro to buy between the 3.33 6 core and 12 core spec, i m an aspiring music composer/producer and engineer, who will be using logic pro 9 with almost all of east west QL plugins, NI komplete 7 and many others. in terms of hardware i ll be using the apogee emsemble, euphonix mix and control and many things. please i need help on a really good spec for my mac pro with future consideration of using pro tools 9HD in he next 24 months.

You've pretty much hit the spot with your two choices. I would personally go with 3.33Ghz 6 core cause of the higher clock speed, and considering that Logic doesn't properly utilize all the cores, but if you do have the money for 12 cores, go for it.
 
I agree with Milan. you want core speed for Logic, not more cores. save a grand and buy yourself a new instrument instead 🙂
