I would have said Simplify but since they announced they have pulled the app and are for all intents and purposes shutting down, I guess it is not a must have for me any longer.

I only have a few iPhone apps I can't live with out. I hope they make iPad versions of them.

Facebook
ESPN
Engadget
Pandora
Apple Remote (This is perfect for house parties. No one can mess with the music. Its even better when you use a Airport connected to a receiver.) Droid can't do that.

I am looking forward to the pages app the most. I have office 2004 and I hate using it to type papers. Sure ppc programs run on intel macs but they run so slow. Doing papers for class with an iPad is going to make my life much easier.

I guess we're all kinda considering it part of the OS... sure I know it is a separate (free) download, but I doubt many people won't download it.

I will download it to check it out, but I will likely delete it immediately. I don't plan to read books on the iPad at all.

AOL. Pretty jarred off about this, as I paid for the original app and bought the version 2 app just recently, and I use it very day. As for the mysterious blog announcement -- go figure.

Major apps for me:

iBooks
Facebook
Safari
LogMeIn Ignition
Beejive

And I sent an email suggestion to the developer of the Times RSS reader (I would LOVE to see that newspaper interface on the iPad), but so far no word back.

Games:

DoodleJump
Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles
Even Tap Tap Revenge 2 might be interesting on a big screen...

Can't wait!
