These are the non-Apple apps that grace my main home screen.

SplashID --> or another password manager with desktop sync
Ignition (LogMeIn) --> sadly now it costs an eye... 130$
TomTom Europe/USA --> better than the one integrated on the iPhone. And way more expensive too.
Video Safe --> to keep private what was ment to be kept private :D
Shazam
WebCamera
MobileMouse --> there are free ones... but I find this to be the best.

The other "must have" that I have are either famous apps (facebook, instagram, ...) or localized apps (my bank app, swiss railway app, swiss airlines app, swiss phone directory, my carrier app ...)

Tweetbot supports the built-in iOS features as well. Tweetbot is beautifully designed with a slick UI that features intuitive smart gestures and customizable shortcuts. It looks and feels better than the official Twitter app in almost every way. Pretty much any feature you could want is supported in Tweetbot: mute filters, easy list management, multiple account support, Instapaper, Readability, and Pocket support, iCloud timeline sync (which is huge if you have an iPhone and iPad; the Mac version is coming soon and will also have iCloud timeline sync), built-in translation, image/video thumbnails. Take a look at the demo videos on Tapbots' website to see what I'm talking about (iPhone; iPad).

Oh, and Tweetbot doesn't have promoted content as of now and likely won't for a little while.

I use these on a daily basis:
-Twitter
-Foursquare
-Wikipanion
-Pages
-Numbers
-eBay
-Podcasts
-Google Search
-Chrome
-YouTube
-Dropbox
-Flipboard
