the Google Search app works great, and doesn't even require a jailbreak!

With iOS 8 there's not so many must haves anymore. I'd still like a good QR tweak/app like BiteSMS though. The only 2 I actually miss when not jailbroken right now are Showcase and RecentFacebook. So not really much of anything for me.

Because had he used the app or the website to type his question instead of here for the 2000th time, he would have had the answer far sooner.

I have other tweaks installed, but these are the Absolutely Essential ones for me:
NoSlowAnimations (it's amazing how unbearably sluggish a stock iPhone feels now!)
VirtualHome (physical buttons are SO last century ;-)

Oh, I see OP asked about APPS, not tweaks. I guess Grooveshark and iFile are the only ones I use that would be considered apps.

Well I guess one could say the same thing in return ... since there are about 100 other "Best jailbreak tweaks" (they're called tweaks not apps by the way) on here, not sure why you felt the need to create another thread rather than reading those that already exists. I'm guessing because it's easier.... ????

Strangely enough, GOOGLE search would come up not only with the list of best tweaks, but also with many video tutorials. There is no better way to decide for yourself, what to choose as favorites 🙂
