I'm going to get a new watch soon, would like to go ahead and get the LTE model just in case I wanted it later on. Wouldn’t want to activate it for a while so is that a step I can skip? I’m on Verv if that matters. I have Googled the question but can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. Thanks Guys!

During the set up it gives you the option to
Cellular - set up later or skip.

Can’t remember the exact verbiage
[doublepost=1507479259][/doublepost]The watch works fine without it and you don’t get any annoying reminders

You can certainly skip it and turn on later however, please note that many of the carriers (ATT for one) is offering 3 free months free and waiving the activation fee. ($25) Your carrier might have the same deal. As to how long they will offer this Promo who knows but if they cancel this promo before you are ready to activate, be aware that you might get charged an activation fee then.

Thanks for this info, not sure when I’m ordering it or how long it will take to get it so if the promo is still going on I will probably go ahead and activate it.
