I use my iPad in business meetings to Airplay to our Apple TV, which is hooked up to a projector.

Is there a setting or easy way to mute notifications when in airplay mode so my notifications aren't visible to all in my meeting? :)

Swipe up from bottom and cloick on crescent moon to enable do not disturb.

As far as I know, that only works if I have the setting to not show notifications in do not disturb set to Always instead of only when the screen is locked. Correct? I typically have it set to only when the screen is locked as I sometimes use my iPad during the times the do not disturb schedule is set for.

Perhaps. You’d have to investigate that further. I prefer for the setting to always behave the same for consistency.
