iPad Muting iPad Air

When I mute my iPad my mail sound still goes off. Is this normal behavior?? I assumed mute meant silent. Do you have to actual turn it completely off at night not to hear any sounds?

Go to Settings > Sounds. Is the "change with buttons" option turned on?

Another great option for not getting disturbed at night is the Do Not Disturb settings. You can set it to automatically not disturb you from, say, 10pm to 7am, or whatever times you prefer.

No, never set up any favorites. Wasn't aware of that honestly. 😀
