Mutiple graphic cards: switch off one ?

How can you switch off a graphics card when you have 2 of the same brand?

Trying to avoid having to install GRUB.

I don't think you can do that in OSX. You can disable a monitor but not a graphic card.

Unrelated, I just realized the nMP would be great for running a CAVE.

Maybe this was the plan.
